Here is an acrylic painting by icteridaedraws called Owls singing love songs.
In this painting we see a picture of a dark forest looking up at night sky. Around the edges we can see the silhouettes of trees and their empty branches, as the leaves have all fallen off of them, so it could be possible that the scene which we see here is taking place sometime during the winter time.
It appears to be a starry night and up in the sky we can see the Northern Lights shining down on the dark forest and if look towards the lower center of the painting we can also see what appears to be two owls in the trees singing to each other, which is where the Northern Lights appear to be emanating from.
This painting to me seems to have a somewhat nostalgic feel to it as it is composed of mostly dark blues, blacks, and whites. Something I liked about this painting was that the night sky was not simply all one color but instead it changed in value from one part of the sky to the next to possibly imitate clouds passing by.
There is also definitely a lot of texture to be see in this painting like in the branches of the trees and the stars but the texture is most notable in the Northern Lights where the lights change from color to color as they shine across the night sky.
I personally like this painting and I admire the concept for it. I feel like it has a distinct romantic feel to it as the Norther Lights continue to radiate from the two owls sing to each other
