Title: Fragility
Medium: Watercolor
Artist Of The Week: Feb. 1-11, 2017

"In making art we allow the world to see into our soul. Fragility represents a point in time during which the artist worked to cleanse herself of feeling of turmoil, anxiety, and grief by putting the emotions on paper. The flowers can be regarded as an expression of hope in a sea of negativity. Fragility is a watercolor painting measuring 12"x16" and was created using Winsor and Newton paints and paper." - SALTWatercolors

This is a watercolor painting called  by the artist SALTWatercolors who makes lovely and impressive watercolor painting of mostly nature and landscape themes in her work and all of her paintings are very breathtakingly detailed and beautiful, using specifically watercolor as her choice of medium.
In this watercolor painting we can see what appears to be some beautiful looking flowers growing surrounded by what might be grass and maybe some other plants and flowers. Some of the things that stand out to me here is, not only the attention to detail, but also the colors and hues that where used.
As we can see here this painting is composed of predominately darker hues and colors and that mixed with the title of the painting itself, "Fragility," I personally feel like it gives the painting a sort of mysterious and melancholy feel to it, but at the same time also a little sweet and delicate like sugar. I really like the warm purple hues here and how they make the dark yellow hues pop out a lot more.
I find this painting so ridiculously awesome that at first glance I literally need a minute to take in all the details and colors the where used here! This is a very well done art piece that obviously had a lot of though and hard work put into it. I definitely recommend taking a look at all of their work.
